Andross
Early - harvest August 1; excellent size and color; very good quality canning peach; highly productive, medium-sized, semi-upright tree
Bowen
Early - harvest August 3; fruit is medium to large, soft, sometimes showing green pockets in the fruit. Introduced in 1971 to fill a maturity period need. Productive.
Carson
Extra early - harvest July 22; very good size fruit for an extra early; very good quality for cannery although prone to invisible split pits; semi-upright tree is somewhat willowy
Ceres Carson
Extra early - harvest 7 days ahead of Loadel; fruit set appears to be lighter than Loadel with better size & production; tree is upright with good vigor.
Davis (Dr. Davis)
Late - harvest August 16; introduced by University of California in 1982; very good size and color; excellent firmness and cold storage capability; vigorous, productive, upright tree (U.S. Plant Patent # 4861)
Goodwin
Early - harvest July 28; fruit is angular to round with slight tip; flesh is yellow to yellow-gold in color; tree is vigorous, upright with a spreading growth habit; U.C. introduction (U.S. Plant Patent # pending)

Late - August 22; large, firm with very good, consistant quality fruit; introduced in 1921 and still an industry standard; vigorous, semi-upright tree.

Extra early - harvest July 22; very vigorous and productive Zaiger variety available to California Canning Peach Association members, approximately with or slightly ahead of Carson, but with better fruit quality and returns for both cannery and grower. (Zaiger) (Patent #8376)

Extra late - harvest August 25; large, uniform fruit with good color and firmness; sizes well with minimal thinning; consistently productive tree; most popular extra-late season cling variety
