Ed's Head in Fruit Fantasyland™

I'm looking for a fruit variety that I have only read about.
It has the reputation for a refreshing and complex flavor.
This is a tough one to track down, so I have put it out to the public for some help.
Perhaps by chance, someone has this memorable fruit, or has heard of someone with a superb fruit similar to this one.
Bear with me & I'll try to remember the mouth-watering flavor description.

This is what I can remember about it:
Of course, it is sweet and juicy, wonderfully crisp and slightly acidic.
Although tart, the aromatic, semi-sweet acidic bite leads to a good quality after-taste.

The Rare
Kitty Kat Persimmon

This very refreshing & characteristic flavor is agreeably aromatic, due in part to the slightly tart, richly-flavored, tangy-but-brisk balance between acid and sugar.

This fruit is smooth, but mild, with a subtle quality that is surprisingly spicy.

My research has led me to the discovery that the spritely, sweet-tart, distinctive aroma, and the excessive sugary juice adds to an unmatched syrupy-sweet, fine and unique flavor. I can remember a taste review in which it was said to finish with the most heavenly after-taste.

I can only dream that this incredibly edible fruit will stimulate my palate while I savor the melting flesh, which is purported to be both unusually rich and intensely-flavored. I look forward to this ultimate fruit's fantastically fine & flavorful, forthcoming-but-forgivably-freakish, far-out & fabulous delicate flavor.
