SCARLET SENTINEL COLUMNAR APPLE ™ Dense clusters of white blossoms followed by large, delicious, red-blushed, greenish-yellow fruit. Attractive, distinctive, narrow-growing (columnar) tree, grows to about ten feet. Trees topped for height control develop upright side limbs. Easily adapted to container growing. Estimated chilling requirement 800 hours. Pollinated by NorthpoleTM or other apple varieties.

HONEYCRISP APPLE Winter hardy tree from the University of Minnesota. Fruit is crisp and juicy with an aromatic flavor. Stripped red over yellow color. Stores well. Ripens in late September to late October. (Pat. No. 7197)

RED DELICIOUS APPLE (Bisbee Spur) Sweet, crisp, flavorful - perhaps the best Red Delicious. Early fall. Small, compact tree. Good pollenizer for most other apples. 700 hours. Pollinated by Liberty, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Fuji, Gala.

RAINIER SWEET CHERRY Large, yellow with red blush. Sweet and flavorful - superior to Royal Ann. Very cold hardy. Mid-season harvest. 700 hours. Pollenizer required -interfruitful with Van, Lambert, Black Tart, Bing.

LANG JUJUBE Also called "Chinese date". Pear-shaped fruits are reddish-brown, dry, wrinkled, sweet and chewy (like dates) when fully ripe in early Fall. Attractive, easy-to-grow tree: hardy, drought-resistant, virtually pest and disease free. Requires long, hot summer. Very low chilling requirement. Pollinated by Li.

IZU PERSIMMON Very sweet, tasty, non-astringent fruit ripens about three weeks before Fuyu. Medium to large size, round shape. Relatively small tree, good choice for backyard persimmon. Sometimes difficult to start from bareroot. 100 hours. Self-fruitful.

SANTA ROSA PLUM Most popular plum in California & Arizona. Juicy, tangy, flavorful. Reddish-purple skin, amber flesh tinged red. Late June in Central Calif. 300 hours. Self-fruitful.

BROOKS EUROPEAN PLUM Long-time favorite European plum for Western Oregon. Oval-shaped fruit with purplish-black skin and yellow flesh. Larger and sweeter than Italian. Used fresh and for canning and drying. Ripens one week earlier than Italian. Discovered in Lafayette, Oregon (seedling of Italian). Introduced in 1946. 800 hours. Self-fruitful.
