Phil Pursel is Dave Wilson Nursery’s sales representative for the Central California/Bay Area region and for the East Coast. His thorough understanding and appreciation of nursery operations comes from over 30 years of experience in the nursery business. Phil started his career working for independent nurseries in San Jose. When he was in his teens, he spent time in the trenches during bareroot season, healing-in, pruning and potting Dave Wilson Nursery trees. When Phil isn’t visiting nurseries and making sales calls, he loves to go fly fishing and trout fishing. Phil and his wife are active advocates for the preservation of Lake Tahoe and enjoy hiking and snowshoeing with their dogs.
