From a cross of J.H. Hale and South Haven. Medium to large size, skin red over orange yellow. Yellow freestone flesh is juicy, sweet, low in acid, with excellent flavor. Midseason harvest, about two weeks before Elberta. Dessert/can/freeze. Winter and frost hardy.
