Medium to very large, mahogany to purple exterior color. Bright amber pulp. High quality, excellent flavor. Decent breba crop followed by heavy summer crop. Produces until frost. Very hardy, will resprout from the base if frozen and produce on first season's growth. Good for fresh use, dried or preserves.
