A large, very firm, highly colored yellow-fleshed freestone, PF 8 Ball also has very good flavor, with an average brix of 13. The skin is nearly fully blushed dark red. Harvest is early and the fruit stores and ships very well. PF 8 Ball is a late bloomer and resistant to bacterial leaf spot. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 18534)
