Blazing with color and sweet with flavor, the Sweet Blaze peach is an aptly-named low-acid, yellow-fleshed freestone. Maturing in the 4th week of June to 1st week of July, Sweet Blaze exhibits large size (2-3/4" to 3") and full skin color (bright orange to red blush). In fruit evaluations at Dave Wilson Nursery, Sweet Blaze stands out as having very firm flesh and excellent shape. Chilling requirement 750-850 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 11630)
