The last peach to mature at Dave Wilson Nursery, Sweet September is an excellent low-acid, yellow-fleshed freestone peach. The harvest of Sweet September begins in the 2nd week of September and extends as late as mid-October in late-harvest regions such as in Washington State. Sweet September has very large size (2-7/8" to 3-1/4") and superior firmness. Chilling requirement 850 to 950 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 9964)
