The Crimson Heart Pluot® interspecific plum is named not only for its distinctly heart-like shape, but for its beautiful ruby red flesh. With soluble solids of 15 ºBrix, Crimson Heart features a balanced flavor that is not overly sweet. The productive tree yields medium-sized fruit (127.8 gram average weight). A pollenizer such as Earliqueen, Joanna Red, Hiromi Red, Dapple Dandy or Crimson Glo is required. Estimated chilling requirement 700 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 12943)
