The ever-sweetening Candy Stripe Pluot® interspecific plum delivers a delicious tart flavor when picked in late July/early August, but let it hang on the tree and this fruit will sweeten dramatically during its three-week harvest period (16.3 ºBrix at maturity/first harvest). The medium size, pink-yellow striped fruit is firm and juicy. Candy Stripe requires a pollenizer such as Santa Rosa or Burgundy plum, Flavor Grenade or Flavor King Pluot®. Estimated chilling requirement 600-800 hours. (U.S. Plant Patent No. 17828) Zaiger
