Large reddish-purple fruit with very sweet, crisp, yellow freestone flesh. Resists brown rot and cracking. Used fresh and for canning and drying. Vigorous, productive, upright tree. Successful in many climates, including Western Washington. Originated in New York, introduced in 1972.
