The world-renowned Redhaven has long been the standard of quality for the early peach season. Medium-sized, with firm, semi-freestone yellow flesh and good, low-acid flavor, Redhaven is well suited to canning, freezing and fresh-market use. When shipping ripe, Redhaven has an attractive orange-red blush over greenish-yellow ground color. The self-fertile Redhaven tree is winter hardy and productive, with good disease resistance. Estimated chilling requirement 800-950 hours.
